The card
A man hangs upside down by one foot, hands behind his back, oddly serene with a halo around his head. In Renaissance Italy this pose was how they depicted traitors, but tarot flipped the meaning: chosen surrender, not punishment. Seeing the world upside down long enough to understand it differently.
If this card were a person
As a person, this is the one who stops fighting the current and, from that stillness, sees what everyone else missed. They're comfortable in the in-between and willing to hang there until a new angle shows up, which drives the impatient people around them a little crazy.

Surrender the struggle. A new perspective comes from letting go of how you thought it had to be.
Stop pushing against this for a while. What you've been fighting is asking to be let go. The new view shows up when you quit straining and hang there long enough to look properly.
A relationship that needs you to stop trying to fix it for a moment. Let it be what it is. What you see when you stop maneuvering is much more accurate than the picture you've been constructing.
